Lions strolled into the 3rd round of the BARLA Yorkshire cup with this convincing win, Reece Dyas, Max Brown and man of the match Brad Smith all scored fine hat tricks, Torin Longstaff scored 2 and Connor Walker , Jordan Leech ,Scott Ripley and Kieran Tighe chipped in with a try apiece .

Lions continued their fine start to the season with another good win.
They got off to a great start when a superb ball from Connor Walker put Reece Dyas through to race 70 yard between the posts.
Forwards Callum Nestor and Jack Blewitt laid a good platform with their tireless drives.
Superb defence from the hard working Kieran Tighe ,Connor Walker and fullback Connor Bell kept Lions on the front foot before ,Torin Longstaff scored a fine try beating off several would be defenders in a 70 yard run to send Lions in 14-6 up at half time.
Torin Longstaff showed power and pace to score his second shortly after the break and Reece Dyas turned the Warriors defence inside out to score his second to put Lions 30-6 up,
Nick Welsh caused Warriors constant problems with his probing runs.
Good passing from Max Brown and Dyas sent Connor Bell racing in out wide, then a superb run and inside ball from Jack Blewitt sent Longstaff in for his hat trick.
Dyas sent the ever dangerous Jordan Leech on a barnstorming run to score out wide and Connor Walker scored with a typical dummy try to round off Lions scoring.
Tighe took the man of the match for an outstanding defensive performance closely followed by Dyas.
Brad Smith, Robert England , Brown and James Pugh all ran well.
Scott Ripley, Mason Due, and Aron Cunningham were solid out wide for Lions.
Blewitt added 4 goals Longstaff 2.

Lions did as their coaches asked and got off to a flying start when a superb defence splitting pass from Connor Walker sent Conner Bell racing in out wide.
Robert England ran well in the opening exchanges, Callum Nestor had a couple of good runs.
Reece Dyas stepped and raced 60 yards for a fine try to put Lions into an early 10-0 lead,
Stanningley hit back with a try before Brad Smith turned the defence inside out and raced in from 60 yards.
Kieran Tighe, Nick Welsh, Max Brown and James Pugh put some good work in to get Lions down the field before Connor Walker scored a typical hookers try to put Lions 22-6 up.
Stanningley hit back on the half time whistle to leave Lions 22-12 up at the break.
Lions started the second half well , good tackles from Scott Ripley Mason Due and Jordan Leech turned possession back Lions way, before the strong running Jack Blewitt scored a try from a barnstorming run.
Aron Cunningham made a try saving tackle before Reece Dyas sealed Lions win with his second try from a fine run, Stanningley closed the scoring whilst Lions were down to 11 men.
Walker took the man of the match award for a superb all round game, he was pushed close by Blewitt, Dyas Leech and Welsh.
Blewitt added 4 conversions.

Lions were unlucky not to take the points in a superb game that could easily have gone their way had one or two decisions gone in their favour.
They got off to a poor start conceding on just 5 minutes before fine work from Connor Walker and Reece Dyas sent in the powerful Jordan Leech for a finely worked try.
Max Brown almost sent Dyas in with a nice pass, but Normanton hit back twice before a great try from the lively Nick Walsh saw Lions go in trailing by just 14 points to 8 at the break.
Lions again started slowly and conceded straight from the break, but recovered with good defence from Connor walker , Kieran Tighe and Brad Smith, before man of the match Reece Dyas scored a scorching 80 yard try to put Lions back in the hunt at just 14 – 18 down.
A superb last 15 minutes of rugby saw the lead see saw, with strong running pair Jack Blewitt and Kieran Tighe powering in for Lions tries.
Non stop work from Connor Walker, Brad Smith, Dyas, Leech and Tighe mounted a frantic last attack for Lions, but the whistle came in time to save the knights.
Mason Due and Connor Bell showed some nice touches, Blewitt added 3 goals
