| "Lions end on a High" The young Lions ended a long hard season with a impressive display against a well drilled side in hot conditions narrowly missing out on the win with only 4 points the difference at the end of this thrilling game The Lions forwards once again held firm with Joint MOM Harvey Farrar and Reiss Butterworth getting through a tremendous amount of work both in attack and defense, with the whole team starting to hold their own against more experienced players it is pleasing to know they are catching up quickly in form and commitment in the later stages of this season Although going behind early on this side as "never say die" spirit throughout it to march on, determined to get a result with Zack Burke leading by example and Magic moment Star Tristan Parker making good ground throughout helped by hard working Ryan Butterworth and Kane Easby Just before the interval The Lions fight back began with consistant Reiss Butterworth sending through a clever grubber kick to chase and recover to score a well thought out try which he also converted, setting his team up for a cracking game of rugby in the second half.
