Featherstone lions u9s put in another excellent team performance but were beaten by a late try by a very skillful Oulton side.
Ollie Thornton, Patrick Harrison and Josh Maden where in great form all tackling and taking the ball forward well.
Ben Cusworth and Top Tackler Jack Appleyard both had fantastic games both in attack and defence.
Joint opposition man of the match Connor Paver was once again in top form especially in attack scoring 1 full length try and almost scoring another before an excellent cover tackle bungled him into touch.
Brandon Boldy, Fabian Burton and Tyler Gamban all gave maximum effort during the game.
Man of the match Brandon Johnson had is best game since joining the Lions constantly wrapping up oultons best attacking threat.
Joint man of the match Regan Roberts (picture) capped off a great display with two well taken tries and was close to winning the top tackler award too.
Roberts and Paver both kicked 1 goal each.
