fev lions u9s took a team to france to play in the curtain raiser game before wakey and catalan .
 the team comprised of tom mynett ,lewis wright, tj parker, harvey farrar, levi johnson , tom sale . joe trigg , rhys matysiak, zach burke, luke france , and benji willoughby
we stayed in lloret de marr in spain and drove to perpignan on saturday morning we met up with eastmoor dragons u14s to watch them against sm pia. pia were good enough to give us a warm up game unfortunatly for us this side comprised of kids owt from 10 to 14 years . fev gave a good account for themselves against much larger stronger more advanced lads playing different rules to us sometimes seeming like anything goes fev did eventually get on the score sheet after zach burke and try scorer levi johnson linked up. in the curtain raiser fev were by far the better team there defence was awesome . tom sale was held up over the line , tom mynett went close and harvey farrar  joe trigg and rhys matysiak all spilled the ball close to the line  the game was won with a solitory try man of the match lewis wright went in after good work by johnson.
