fev made it 8 from 8 in difficult conditions, weather very cold icy wind and the pitch was virtually un playable but the lions roared on collecting another clean sheet with brilliant defence led by top tackler lewis wright and joint coaches merit winner reiss butterworth for an outstanding performance. joint winner josh haller won his part for collecting his 1st try for the club even though the ref dissallowed it for no good reason. that was 1 of 6 trys fev were unlucky not to score according to the ref. zach burke worked hard in both attack and defence but was denied on 2 occasions. oppositions man of the match levi johnson was again in top form linking up with tom sale in the first half both collecting a try and sale adding the 2. big rhys matysiak was also denied twice but eventually made his mark after a storming run up the left side carrying 3 defenders over the line with him. the pitch was too narrow for fev to play their usual open rugby they've learnt to play but the moving up and defence was excellent. forwards joe trigg, harvey farrar and big rhys ran hard and strong all day in heavy conditions and farrar was rewarded with the best try of the game a neat pass from sale to open the gate harvey hit it at speed and sprinted 40m to touch down.tom mynett again tackled well but there was not enough room for him to run how he likes ever improving luke france played a safe game with no mistakes. johnson collected his 2nd after a movbe from the scrum and mynett finished off the scoring adding the 2. 7 of fevs players got into double figures in the tackle count .
