Lions continued their recent good run with a patchy but solid enough performance , playing in Poor conditions Lions never really threatened the good open rugby they are capable of ,but sound team work and will to win saw them grind out a good result.
Man of the match Brad Smith was superb in defense and attack along with Connor Walker who also scored a fine hat trick of tries ,Torin Longstaff who scored 2 great tries and Jordan Leech who ran tirelessly throughout.
Reece Dyas pulled of a couple of fine try saving tackles , Connor Bell had another good game at fullback , Max Brown made a couple of good strong breaks ,
Forwards Callum Nestor ,Connor Smith , Jack Blewitt, James Pugh and James Simpson all did well in testing conditions .
Scott Ripley , Robert England ,Aron Cunningham and Charlie Robertson made good contributions, and half backs Zak Dawson and Brad Sharp all worked well.
Blewitt added 2 goals Dyas 1 .
