Featherstone produced one of their best displays of the season but it was not enough to beat a very well organised stanningley side.
Great defence from Connor Paver, Regan Roberts, Josh Maden and Patrick Harrison was not enough to prevent stanningley from scoring four unanswred tries.
Ben Cusworth, Jake Wood, Brandon Boldy and Luke Jaques all tried to penetrate their opponents defencive line but tough tackling prevented them from doing so.
Jack Appleyard battled bravely despite taking a bad knock early in the game.
Kaylum White distributed the ball well from acting half throughout the game.
Regan Roberts was named opponents man of the match and came closest to scoring for the lions but was held up inches from the line Joshua Maden was named man of the match after a solid allround display and Ben Cuswoth was most improved.
