With the boots dusted off and the fire still burning, Ian “Jacko” Jackson returns to Featherstone Lions for the 2026 season.

A familiar face to everyone around the club, Jacko was a key part of the Lions’ glory years, and his wealth of experience is already proving invaluable back in training. His presence has made an immediate impact with the group, passing on knowledge, standards and the winning mentality that helped define a successful era for the club.

Known for his leadership, commitment and relentless attitude, Jacko knows exactly what it means to pull on the Lions jersey. He returns not only to compete, but to help drive standards on and off the field, bringing energy, belief and guidance to a rebuilding squad eager to take the next step forward.
